Immunizations
Parents are asked to make many important decisions for their children. Some of the most difficult choices concern a child's health care.
Whether or not to immunize children againt certain diseases is a difficult decision. We all want to do what is best for our children, and as a community, we also need to protect the public's health.
Research shows that childhood immunizations are a safe and effective way to protect our children and our community against communicable diseases. Some of these diseases are becoming more rare -- that's because of successful vaccination programs. If we stop vaccinating our children, those diseases will come back.
